Vogue 9259 – 4th of July outfit !

I decided to whip up this little ditty for 4th of July before I go on a small hiatus.
Yes, I am taking a small break! I am trying to move in a new direction with my sewing so I have purchased a digital pattern making course that I want to devote all my free time to!
I am also working on a few free DIY\’s for you guys so stay tune for that and my new pattern line !!
Now let\’s talk about this super CUTE super EASY Pattern:

For this pattern, I decided to use floral fabric that I got from Joann\’s earlier. It didn\’t have much of a description but feels like a Scuba Knit or swimsuit fabric. I loved the feel of the fabric and the fact that it didn\’t need a hem. Win !!

Let\’s Talk About The Pattern ……

Pattern Description: Criss-Cross Halter Romper and Jumpsuit
Pattern Sizing: I cut a size 12
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, they were easy and pretty straight forward.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved the design element of the criss-cross but the mechanical aspect of it wasn\’t the best for heavy chested women. I did purchase this bra from here but it did nothing in the way of lift so a lot of that rested on the straps … which tied around your neck. That part wasn\’t the most comfortable.
Fabric Used: Scuba Knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added 2 inches in the legs to View A
Would you sew it again? Probably not but it was definitely a fun sew and Cute results!

Waiting on the fireworks like ….. 😆💥

I love the way the back looks, it\’s such a cute summer outfit!
Until Next Time XOXO !!
