This pattern is PERFECT for spring /summer sewing! This pattern is a new spring pattern!
Originally when I saw this pattern my intent was to make the long sleeve version, but then I purchased the pattern and decided that the \”no sleeve\” version was a must sew first !
The pattern that I used was McCall 7577

The pattern was super easy to sew and it only took a few hours to finish ! The instructions where very straight forward and easy to understand . I would classify this as a beginner pattern.
I cut a Size 12 .
Alterations
I extended the legs 2\” on this pattern but next time I will add 4\” because it just wasn\’t quite long enough for me. I typically add 2\”- 4\” onto my pants, but according to the pattern measurements I only needed to add 2 \”. I\’m sure it was intended for the hem to fall right at the ankle but I prefer mine a little longer in case I wear heels with the outfit !
Next time I will also add pockets! I kept reaching for them because I felt there should be pockets !
For the fabric, I used a Pink Crepe that I purchased from Joann\’s . The drape and hand of this fabric is absolutely gorgeous. A similar can be found here.
I love this jumper ! Its the perfect piece to carry you thru Spring and Summer .
I do plan on sewing the long sleeve version also !
Until Next time ! xoxoxo
I've just discovered your blog looking for a review of this pattern. Your projects are really fabulous, looking forward to seeing what you make next, as our tastes are remarkably alike. I am just about to buy this pattern, plus a few others that you have made, like the Nikki from Beaute J'adore jumpsuit. Happy sewing!
