Its my Birthday Y\’all !!!! 

Well technically yesterday was but HEY minor details !!! I spent yesterday really enjoying time with my family and reflecting on life . I know that sounds cliche but I will be transitioning into a new job next week and I am just so thankful for God and the opportunities  that he keeps providing me with !! Im excited for the change but also sad to be leaving a family ( at my current job) that I have grown to know and love over a nine year period !! 

Anyhow !  I had to make me a outfit for my DAY  so I decided to use this BEAUTIFUL Pique knit that I had purchased from Fabric.com. Let me just say that the pictures of the fabric on their website do it NO justice. The fabric can be found here . This fabric is BEAUTIFUL, and it had texture to it !! I knew i had to make a statement piece when I received the fabric so Bell bottom pants was just what I decided on !!!

The pattern that I used was ….

 If you have been following me you know that I used this pattern ( View A) in my Fit and Flare post recently. . 

The fit is perfect and the flar is so dramatic. I decided to use View B this time .

 Still dramatic but not AS dramatic .

  I cut a size 10 this time since the fabric had stretch to it ! 

I LOVE THESE PANTS !!

 The color is EVERYTHING and the fit that I wanted was spot on !!. 

The top was a after thought, I wanted something that made its own statement but didnt steal the shine from the pants ! I found this polka dot Rayon Challis from Joann\’s and thought it was perfect !!! 

Since the pants had such a flare I wanted to add a little structure to the shirt .

The pattern was easy and the instructions where very easy to follow .The pattern had self facing in the back yoke and I chose to omit the pockets . I also added two inches to the sleeve. 

Pairing these two pieces together was a match made in heaven ! 

I love them and I will  of course be making more ! 

I really want to make these in a denim !!
