OH ! Glorious Color Block !!!
I love how this wrap dress turned out !!! Let me just get that out FIRST!!!
Im so excited because I had NO idea of what I wanted to do with this fabric … I did my little ritual where I lay the fabric out on my cutting table and walk past it for a few days hoping I would get a idea …
TO NO AVAIL 😦 !!
One of my followers suggested that I make a wrap dress ! That idea seemed perfect because Mccall had just announced on their blog that they where doing a wrap dress sew along !!!
The had outlined a list of patterns that could be used… After much debate ( not really) I settled on :

I Cut a size 12
I am definitely going to sew this pattern again soon with a solid color, but I am so lovin this color block design right now !!! I was a little apprehensive about it because Ive never worked with color block fabric but I think the placement of the blocks turned out fine !

One thing i love about the wrap dress is the ability to dress it up or down !
I can throw on a pair of heels and grab my clutch to change it up for a night on the town with hubby!! The wrap dress is so versatile and since that\’s what I aim to accomplish in all my pieces Ill call this one a WIN ! 🙂
