Escape – Vogue 9075 and Giveaway Details !!!

Hi Honeys!! I hope that everyone had a wonderful week !!
I have something exciting to share with you all but first I wanted to talk about my outfit this week !!!

The inspiration for this piece came from a Midi Skirt that I saw another fashion blogger wear a few months ago. when I saw this little number I completely fell in love !!

I loved how the colors popped and the different scenic places that where displayed on the skirt. I sat out to find a border print that I could use to make my own rendition of the skirt.
As to be expected I realized quickly that border prints are SUPER hard to find and this one was going to be impossible to find ! I concluded that it had probably been made by the designer .
My only option was to make it myself !!!!!
( Here I go making things more difficult than they have to be : ) )
First I needed to decided on what pattern I wanted to use . Mccall Pattern Company had recently made a Instagram post about a new Spring pattern coming out that I though was Sooo adorable !! I decided to use it and go with a White Ponte Knit so that the print would show up good , Plus! I\’ve never made anything WHITE for myself ….
I think I\’m afraid of the color because it gets dirty so easily !!!
AnyWhoo…

Here is the Vogue Pattern that I decided on V9075 :

The exaggerated legs gave me the room to play around with different monuments of my choosing . Next I needed some type of transfer paper to get the images on the fabric . I ended up choosing a transfer paper by JetPro called \”Jetpro SoftStretch\” . I read a lot of reviews online about how smooth and high quality the finish was and that it allowed the fabric to be stretched without cracking the image !! This was EXACTLY what I needed !!
I purchased mine through Ebay and began construction of the bodice while I waited on it to get here .
The pattern was super easy to follow and gave you instructions on how to line the bodice …
SUPER EASY  . Depending on the fabric that you have I would possibly line the legs to , however there was no need for me to because my fabric was not see thru.

By the time my paper arrived I was finished with the bodice so I began work on my legs. I decided that the smartest thing was to put the design on BEFORE I sewed them together so I went to work finding the images that I wanted … I decided on several images from London and Paris …. some of the images I included where the Eiffel Tower (of course), the London Eye , the London Bridge, the Leaning Tower of Pesia , and the Taj Mahal …

These are all places I dream of one day visiting !!
I printed these on the paper that i purchased , arranged them the way that I wanted and used the Heat Press at my job to transfer the images on to the fabric !
I love how they turned out !!!!
The construction of the legs and attaching it to the bodice was super easy ALSO !!
By Valentines Day coming up I think this makes for the perfect outfit to dress up for a date night with my Hubby !!! Cant Wait !! Hes taking me to see 50 Shades of Grey!!
